Leo is a Ruling Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) since 2001. He is a graduate of International Bible College (IBC) of San Antonio, Texas and holds a Bachelors’ Degree from St. Louis University. He served from 1969-73 in the U.S. Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller. He retired from a career in Labor Relations in 2002 and has since served two of his passions. One of those passions was coaching basketball at various levels, including 5 years at Westminster Christian Academy and four years at Ritenour High School.
His greatest passion however, is Missions. He has been involved in missions in one way or the other since his days at IBC. Since 1992, he has served continuously in missions as a member of the Missions Team, Chairman, Elder Oversight and Director. During that time he has led vision and missions trips to Bulgaria, Cherokee N.C., Cyprus, Ecuador, Kenya, Malta, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Russia and South Africa. He has served on various missions boards and is currently serving on the Advisory Board of “Behind the Scene” (a reformed media ministry) and the Missouri Presbytery MTW Committee. Leo previously served for six years on Committee on Mission to the World (CMTW), the oversight board of the PCA Sending Agency, Mission to the World. He was re-elected by the PCA General Assembly for a new term beginning in September, 2016.
Leo has been married to his beautiful wife, Tina, since 1982 and they have three adult children: Dionne, Marc and Whitney.
