Frequently Asked Questions

When does church start?
Spring Hills Church service starts on Sundays @ 10:30am, but we’d love to get the chance to meet you beforehand around 10:15.
What are you current safety restrictions?
People are encouraged to wear a mask as they come in and out of the sanctuary. We will have disposable masks available for those who want them.

We have our sanctuary chairs spaced out so that you can maintain social distancing. There will be hand sanitizer available throughout the lobby and sanctuary.

The left side of our building (including the Great Hall and Sunday School classrooms) is currently closed off, except when needed for overflow seating.

We are currently refraining from some of the normal types of physical contact (handshakes, hugs, etc.) that you would find typical of our warm and welcoming congregation.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. People at our church come dressed in jeans and t-shirt or in a suit and tie. You can wear whatever you’re comfortable wearing.
What is the church service format like?
The best way to describe the format of our church service is relaxed, yet reverent — relaxed in the friendliness of the people, yet reverent in our worship. When you come to Spring Hills, you’ll have a worship bulletin on your seat to guide you through the service. We believe God wants us to worship Him in an orderly way, so our service follows the worship guide. Our service includes a call to worship, prayer of adoration, corporate prayer of confession, greetings of peace, Scripture reading and a sermon. We also record the sermon so you can listen to it later from our website.
What is the singing like?
We offer a blend of traditional and contemporary music. We love the rich history traditional hymns offer as well as the meaningful newer songs that you might hear on the radio. Our worship band instruments can include anything from grand piano, keyboard, drums, electric bass, mandolin, acoustic guitars, and at times string, brass, and wind instruments. We also have a full choir that sings during many of our services.
What should I expect on my first visit?
You’ll discover the friendliness of the people the moment you come to Spring Hills. You will be greeted and you may be asked to fill out a contact card so we can keep in touch with you.
Do you have a nursery?

Yes, our nursery is open for infants through age 4. Please register beforehand here.
Do you have a cry room?

We sure do. All children are welcome to stay in the church service with their parents, but we realize that sometimes it may be necessary to have a more private area to care for your child. We provide a room with a TV monitor so you can still watch the service and care for your child at the same time.
Do you have Sunday School?

Our Sunday School classes are currently on pause due to COVID-19 restrictions. We hope to open them again soon, offering a range of classes from nursery age through adults.
Where do I go if I have more questions?

Feel free to ask anyone you see, and they can help point you to one of our staff or officers. You can also call the church office Monday-Friday at (636) 677-0409 or send an email to office@springhillspca.org.
